As a prelude to the forthcoming TT season this week the club ride will be heading out to Crowfield riding two of the local TT courses.Rolling out of Northgate at 09.00 and heading out to Henley to complete a lap of the 5 mile TT course, then on to Coddenham and finally Crowfield.
We have secured the Crowfield viilage hall as this weeks coffee stop and TT HQ. After refreshments and comfort breaks the various groups will head on and do a circuit of the Crowfield 10 mile TT course.
In all the route with one lap of Henley totals forty miles, so the option for stronger groups to do additional laps of either course is available.
All riders will be requested to make a financial contribution towards providing services at Crowfield Village Hall.
Thanks go to Leon Thompson for organising this club event, he has been liasining with clubs TT secretay Antony Birt and our very own TT guru Angus Jardine.
These rides do not happen on their own and extended gratitude goes to Leon Thompson, David Boother, Marcus Sharpe and Polly Peddles for braving the biblical weather conditions to test ride the course to make sure that Saturdays ride is yet another IBC success. – Chappeau.
