The Tour of Britain comes to Suffolk in September, but before that, on July 24, we have the chance to ride the route from Bury to Sandringham in the Tour Ride charity sportive. Full details are at http://www.tourride.co.uk/

Yesterday’s Ipswich Bicycle Club road race was a great success, thanks to the efforts of a lot of members and friends of the club.
We were blessed with a dry day again and the racers kept up a decent pace; too hot for quite a few riders including our chairman! (Sorry, Tim!)
It was great to see some different faces helping out as well as the regulars who put their hands up and the new accredited marshalling scheme seemed to work well.
We did have one coming-together, unfortunately, and our own Tom Stephenson came off worst, breaking his new bike frame and leaving some skin on the road. Hope you’re back on your bike soon, Tom!
